Thermography vs. Mammography - which is safest?

1 in 8 women and 1 in 1,000 men will develop breast cancer in the U.S. There are 290,000 cases every year! Getting mammograms, ordered by your doctor, is the typical way to receive "early" detection. However, did you know a tumor may be present 5-8 years before detectable by a mammogram?

Breast cancer can take up to 10 years to develop. Mammograms are being proven to show that they are not the best way to detect cancer. Thermography, unlike mammography, detects abnormal vascular activity, inflammation and pain throughout the body. Detecting cancer with something that can lead to cancer itself (radiation) is paradoxical and should be highly reconsidered when trying to get early detection. Mammography can cause rupture and bruising, can damage DNA, and may be a contributing factor to certain types of breast cancer. Thermography is pain, compression, and radiation free. Thermography has a 97% accuracy rate, while mammography has a 80-85% accuracy rate.

Save yourself the trouble and go with the safest option: thermography.
