Spinal Hygiene

 Hygiene is defined by Dictionary.com as being a science or practice that deals with the preservation of health. And spinal of course refers to the “backbone.” So, your “backbone” or vertebral column requires maintenance to preserve its health.  Taking care of your spine is like taking care of your teeth.  If you neglect your teeth, they will cause pain,  require expensive dental work, and evenutally become completely unusable.  The same is true for caring for your spine.  INeglecting your spine can cause severe pain, large hospital bills, etc.  Keeping your spine healthy will help maintain your overall health. Below are 4 simple exercises you can do at home, in your car, in the office, anytime of day to maintain spinal hygiene.
